Raymond van Barneveld can already speak of a successful comeback. The 53-year-old resident of The Hague was the best on Saturday during the third Players Championship tournament, winning his first ranking title since 2013.
Eight years ago Van Barneveld managed to win a Pro Tour tournament for the last time. Barney won the Premier League Darts in 2014, but that tournament does not count towards the world ranking. Afterwards, Van Barneveld reached only two ranking finals, both of which were lost
